My Practice

Mindfulness based psychotherapy is a powerful approach to healing that is based on the ancient wisdom of how to work with our own minds. Mindfulness is defined by paying attention, with intention, in the present moment, without judgment. Clients who practice mindfulness skills share that their lives are more positive, they have an enhanced sense of well-being and better relationships all around.

In Mindfulness Psychotherapy, I work with clients to support their development of moment-by-moment awareness by teaching a variety of skills and techniques, which will aid in their development.

I have worked with clients ranging in age from 14 to mid 70’s with all different issues. Some people will come for Solution Focused Therapy while others will come for a longer period of time. I will come up with a treatment plan after the first session so you have an idea where you are going. We will then re-assess at a later period to see how you are doing.

Sessions are usually 50 minutes in duration once a week however, if you require longer sessions or more frequent sessions, 90-minute sessions or twice a week sessions, are available. I recommend 90-minute sessions for Couple Counselling. Click here to see Payments and Policies.
