Heidi Prosserman is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and is listed on the Psychology Today website. Heidi has completed her B.A. Spec. Hons. and her Masters in Counselling Psychology. Heidi is a member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP), the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) and the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists (OSP).
Heidi is a graduate of the Transformational Arts College for Spiritual Psychotherapy and Spiritual and Holistic Studies (TAC) in Toronto. Heidi has been certified in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) from the University of Toronto. As well, Heidi studied for an additional four years with the Integral Healing Centre of Toronto and continues to further her education constantly taking additional courses.
For many years Heidi worked with Victim Services, with Toronto Police assisting victims of crime and sudden tragedies in restoring and enhancing their quality of life while working to prevent further victimization in the many diverse communities. Heidi provided crisis intervention and emotional support to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, assault, homicide, elder abuse, and sudden tragedies such as death and suicide.
Heidi is now in private practice in Thornhill, Ontario.
